The Department of Post, Tamilnadu Postal circle notified advertisement for Direct Recruitment of Postman and MailGuard in the Oct 2016, they conducted Objective type examination on 11th Dec 2016. Results for the examination were published on 14th March 2017 Division wise on their website.

After seeing the mark list of all candidates, some candidates allegedly reported that many Non-Tamil candidates topped that list with 24/25 marks in Tamil language test.Even for Tamil candidates, it is tough to get 20+ marks in Tamil Language Test, who studied Tamil as one of the subjects in School.Syllabus of the Written Examination for the post of Postman & MailGuard

The syllabus for Tamil section included compound and complex sentences, proverbs, sentence correction, sentences used in colloquial dialect and grammatical concepts

Interestingly, the option to check details of candidates was disabled.We received some NonTamil Candidates application from the complainers and looked thier marks carefully at DoP website.

We found some candidates those who are Non-Tamils who got 24/25 in Tamil.We present you , their application form and marks

We amazed when Tamil became official language of Haryana after seeing their performance in Tamil Language Test

When we tried to contact one of the candidates with phone search on Facebook, about this issue and the person manages to reply in Tamil with Google Translate

While the results of all candidates have been released, DoP is yet to publish the list of selected candidates. The selection will be done based on marks in compliance with vacancies reserved for OBC, SC, ST and other categories.

Alleging that the discrepancies indicated leakage of question papers or other malpractices
